Ariadne, Mistress of the Labyrinth, sighed as she crouched and picked up broken rope. The frayed ends tickled her fingers. This can’t be good. Same days she detested her job, the Theseus wannabe on the loose. Why couldn’t the idiot just follow the line out?

Ariadne returned home and tossed the rope on her coffee table. As expected, Minotaur sat on his arse, stark naked, laptop open, scratching.

“We have a moron roaming.”

Minotaur groaned.

“I’m on it, chase him out. Before an untimely death… maybe…”

Granted, his hairy balls usually worked like a charm…

“What have you been doing?”

“Trolling the maze known as the interweb. We need to invest in some Russian bots.”

Ariadne shielded her eyes as Minotaur strolled out the room; their work never ending.

  1. Hairy balls would chase me out of most places. That’s why I always wanted to be in the girls’ locker room. Oddly enough, they also lead me into most places.

Nice use of the lines on the pavement. Very creative.

The Muse likes her ego stroked, leave a comment and she'll do the same... unless there is a glitch... or human error...
