Eeek, how do humans live like this?
No green in sight. No fresh oxygen, only second-third-fourth-fifth handed air.
Why did I ever get on The Fairy Express?
Her unicorn waited at home.
One prank and I’ll be on the first train out.
Yellow sighed as she walked along the street, the grey dragging down her mood.
Why can’t I just add a bit of joy?
Because it isn’t what fairies do. Her brother Brown, famous for his doo-doo pranks.
Not wanting to embarrass her family, Yellow pulled on a tent pole. The structure collapsed. Humans squealed under the chaos.
She wanted to laugh but couldn’t.
I’m deranged.
“Help-help!”
Fudge-dang-it – Yellow backtracked and pulled a little human to safety. Warm arms wrapped around her neck. Maybe failing wouldn’t be so bad, she’ll take her new pet back with her.
Being rescued by a contrite collector may not be the best fate for the little human

At least the little human will ride unicorns.

Yellow means well. Her future actions might be fun to explore in a future story.

No explosives yet, so that’s a good thing.

What a strange story. an alien called yellow is definitely odd!

In fairy lore, they have a reputation for taking children.

I think for me they felt like aliens not fairy’s thats what threw me a little. A good story nonetheless.

Interesting story.
Poor child is in danger.
The fairy isn’t such an angel after all.
Here is my story- The Red T-Shirt

Ah, a traditional child-stealing fairy! I thought the Fairy Express had strict anti-people-trafficking laws nowadays?

I guess it’s like anything, always a loophole. Doesn’t look good from a PR point of view.

Dear Tannille,
Cute little “pet.” Yellow sounds like a well rounded fairy.

She’s a bit more sensitive than the others. I think the child has a friend for life.

I love this. You successfully present the mind-set of the fairy as similar and at the same time completely different from ours. I just started to like Yellow and then – poof. We’re little more than animals to her.

I think she is misguided, thinking she is saving the child. What child doesn’t want to go to fairyland? You’re right, at her core she is still a fairy.

“New pet”? She seems to be even more dastardly than the other lot 🙂

These ones are not friends to humans, but they can say the same about us.

Sounds as if Yellow isn’t as naughty as her brother. Perhaps she’ll return her “pet” at an opportune moment–and what a story that child will tell!

Yes! I think yellow would make friends with the child and hate their sadness, driving her to do the kind thing.

I had a problem with internet shortly after commenting on some blogs.
I think my comment was mixed in with the issue. Can you check your

No spam. But I hear you. Sometimes commenting goes a bit strange and there is no way of telling where the comment went. Modern technology!

Aah, those little human pets, pity they live in such crowed stale conditions. I had two, they cost a fortune to look after and were constantly needing things as the grew larger.
Quick, tell her to throw it back under the structure.

Pesky pets. Moments of being loveable but they cost and grow more demanding.

I had a bit of a chuckle from your name selections.
I like that in fairy lore – Yellow takes children. How will
we keep dhildren behaving and well-mannered? Tell them
about Yellow Fairy. ha ha Nicely done … Be safe

Fairy lore is interesting. In modern days fairies are sweet but according to the old legends they are to be feared and are said to steal children.

I think Yellow is my favorite fairy. I could just see her pouty demeanor and then giving in so she could go home. Loved this!
