Flash Fiction: Hibernation

This picture represents me right now. It’s been freaking cold and today was the first day in months we’ve had direct sun. Yay. 

 The Muse feels iced. Wednesdays and Fridays have become physiotherapy days. Energy depleted. As they say “no pain, no gain”. My physiotherapist cringes every time I quote the saying. No, it doesn’t hurt. Although I’ve been on a Saw binge and she strapped to a device today. I couldn’t help but imagine round blades extending from the roof — thanks Muse, wrong place, wrong time! 

Next Wednesday, I’m booked in for the second Pfizer shot. If physio doesn’t take me out, that might. Ha. This is my melodramatic way of saying, I am alive, all is dandy, but blogging is a bit hit and miss. Priorities… I’m playing a game with my writing buddy and he’ll turn a bit Jigsaw on my butt if I don’t make the novel my number one priority — game over.
