Tannille and The Muse converse…
Hey Muse, I think it’s only fitting you see the year out.
Oh, you’re just saying that because you’re drawing a blank for a story and the poem you started is so embarrassingly bad I won’t let you finish.
The train tracks remind me of The Fairy Express; we’ve already played with Brown Fairy this week.
Actually, aren’t they tram tracks?
Does it matter? You’re just nitpicking. Either way, I have a feeling you want to throw a naughty child on the tracks.
Who me? That’s hardly the way to finish a year… or is it? Hmmm. 2020, 2021 and 2022 all train wrecks. What’s another one?
Wishing everyone a fabulous 2023!

I have often wondered if my muse was the only one that it’s host. Now I know that I am not alone. Compliments of the season to you Tannille

Yes, tram-track.
Hope we have a great year without train wrecks.
Enjoy! Best wishes, Tannille.

Sometimes the muse needs a holiday as well – particularly after 2020, 2021, 2022…

One can hope it will somehow be better in 2023, but I fear we’ve laid the groundwork for more sorrow. We’ll see.

I feel like slowly things are getting better and hold hope for 2023, but it wouldn’t take much to be 2020 again.

Well that’s a refreshing way to end your writing for 2022..a chat with your Muse.
I hope this year has more good news than bad, but Qld hasn’t made a very good start so far…
Happy new year to you, T 🙂

It’s been a while since I posted a conversation with The Muse. Always fun.
Poor Qld. WA has been rolling along. We’re quite lucky in the West. I hope the East improves. Happy writing to you and your muse 🥂.

I hope so too, re Qld.
At least my muse doesn’t wait till I’m almost asleep before prodding me with an idea so much these days…did I just say that out loud? Lol
I’m not sure how many parts this sequel should have…I don’t want to irritate anyone. 🤷♀️

You know, I’ve never had that happen (the nagging muse before sleep, during sleep, first thing in the morning). I get the shower nag instead. I’m sure your muse will find a way to nag.
Write where ever the muse takes you. You won’t annoy annoy anyone. 😀

You get the shower nag too? It’s so annoying…where are we supposed to write it down..on the foggy glass door? Lol
And thank you, I will go where the muse takes me, even if it is far fetched 😀

Someone stop these trains, we need a year that isn’t thrown under them. Muse, do your job! Great fun Tannille and Happy New Year.

No trains 2023… Make the world great again. 😀. It would be nice to have a year without the world drama. I second “Muse, do your job”. May the muses make the world a better place. 😀

Hoping to get the new year off to a good start I gave my muse something amusing for Christmas but she seemed bemused by it. At least I tried.

An interesting and entertaining dialogue with the ever-critical Muse. Nicely done and may 2023 be the best of the lot. 🙂
